Sojourn Project II (SPII) Focus Areas

Education and Research that explore health disparities, human
rights violations, social injustices, and marginalized populations’ experiences in different regions, and examine policy, and legal frameworks for promoting human rights, social justice, and inclusive development.

Performance art provides a dynamic and often provocative medium for artists to explore, express, and challenge societal norms, cultural narratives, and individual experiences. It typically involves live presentations that can include elements of theater, dance, music, and visual art, often emphasizing 8 the use of the artist’s body, time, and space.

Sojourn Project II focuses on promoting social inclusion and supporting groups at risk of exclusion, including people deprived and formerly deprived of liberty, victims of gender-based violence, trafficking, and sexual exploitation, immigrants, and those seeking or receiving international protection, temporary and subsidiary protection, and stateless protection.

Sojourn Project II Internships

The Sojourn Project II Internship Program offers students an enriching, short-term work experience during the summer or academic semester.

As a nonprofit organization, Sojourn Project II (SPII) partners with higher education institutions to provide students with internships tailored to their academic interests and career aspirations. 

Interns work collaboratively with SPII while aligning their efforts with the goals of their educational institution. They are encouraged to select a research topic relevant to their field of study, develop a unique project, and see it through to completion as a culminating final deliverable.
